Rise Up, My Love

“Rise up,

 my love,

 my fair one,

 and come away.

 For, lo,

 the winter is past,

 the rain is over and gone;

 The flowers appear on the earth;

 the time of the singing birds is come,

 and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land.”

– Song of Solomon 2:10

At the onset of winter it is O.K. to look forward to spring,

not just to look forward to a renewed love

but to remind us that our love is here now

to keep us warm and welcomed over the long winter.

Today, think spring, think love.

Love is the song of the heart.

Love is helping someone love themselves.
