“The Lord
your God
is with you,
He is mighty
to save.
He will take
great delight
in you,
He will quiet you
with His love,
He will rejoice
over you with singing.”

Zephaniah 3:17

God made you perfect,

perfectly capable of doing His will,

to love unconditionally.

Grace is God’s gift to those who love,

faith is our gift to a Higher Power,

the One who will provide for our needs.

Love is the quiet of His grace.

Loveis helping someone love themselves.

    Greetings Brother Michael,
I enjoyed you sharing your thoughts with me here on these pages. By the way, Zephaniah 3:17 in the KJV has lyrics written for it. It was a very popular song when I was saved in ’77. I had a Pastor who loved to sing this piece of scripture. It is an easy way to memorize verses. This verse in Zephaniah is extremely powerful and gives high praises to Our God.
As the day progressed on Sunday, I began to put together the verse you used and the verse the Pastor used in his sermon. He said,” The Israelites would occupy houses they did not build and drink wine from vineyards they did not plant.” Zephaniah 1:13 speaks of God’s judgment on Jerusalem. “They shall build houses, but not inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine.” Was the scripture revelation to you and the pastor’s sermon somehow tied together? (Was it just an unrelated event? probably? more than likely? maybe? no way? couldn’t be? right??) God’s Word is “Living” and “Prophetic.” What happened on Sunday 7-10-2011? The Bible is a “Big” Book with lots of verses.

From the Brother you never knew you had until now,

    jim larose
